Eastfeast 2001
The Eastfeast day at Phillips Park on August 12 also suffered some dreadful weather, torrential rain and howling winds, but true to British.... no... Mancunian resilience, the good folk still turned out to join in the fun. All the hard work wasn’t going to be a washout if they could help it, unfortunately the weather was so bad it would have been dangerous for the bands to use their equipment so they reluctantly had to be cancelled, however there is a possibility of the groups performing at another event in the area quite soon.
