Victoria Mill Health Care Centre
August 2000 Varley Street clinic closed its doors for the last time and services moved to Victoria Mill. At the mention of Victoria Mill I couldn’t help thinking back to when I first entered ‘The Mill’ I was fourteen years old and it was my first day at work that was 56yrs ago.

The interior is no longer as frightening as it was then in fact it is very pleasant indeed.The specially designed accomodation offers:Good Access.

Group Activity facilities.

On one of the interior walls hangs a banner depicting a little bit of local history, designed by members of the Have Your Say team, encouraged by Mr. Jim Bolton (Community Health Liason Officer) and produced by Tracy Pickles a Community Artist based at the Action Factory in Blackburn.
