Feast Jubilee Parade and Street Party
Bank holiday Monday 3rd June will see a huge parade through Manchester City Centre. Groups from all 10 districts of Greater Manchester and beyond will be taking part.

It has been decided to pool skills and talents and bring together the Manchester Lord Mayor’s Parade and the countrywide Feast Parade (organised by the Streets Ahead Festival people) to form a spectacular Jubilee Parade, the largest ever to be held in the City Centre and the official Jubilee Celebration. The theme will be FEAST....of cultures...colours...food...what ever. There will be an emphasis on foot parading entries and floats that are not based on large lorries as these are difficult to decorate attractively, pollute the atmosphere and can cause severe traffic chaos in the city centre! All 10 Lord Mayor’s will take part in the parade which will end in Albert Square. There will be a street party around the city centre all afternoon, with music, street entertainment and food from around the world.

Everybody welcome to join in the fun!
Would you like to be involved? We welcome all community organisations, cultural groups and voluntary bodies to take part using the FEAST Theme.

Please contact us for an application form. We will be happy to discuss your entry with you and give you help.
