Can any-one provide photographs of the premises of Fyans & Gordons funeral directors and Gordons provision dealers both of Great Ancoats Street, as my grandmother Annie Logan who lived in Varley Street for 50years was one of the Gordon family. She was also the grandmother of Stella McDonald (Nee Barnett) who is also a well known character in your parts! My father Norbert Connell was for many years, until 1950, (when he left Manchester) a member of Corpus Christi Flute Band.
Yours Faithfully Stephen Connell.
