Ann Wimbush is the Queen, I'm behind on her left and slightly behind on my left is my cousin Stella Heapy who was the retiring queen. I think it was about 1955.

Here is a photograph of the first Charabanc owned by R.T. Leech and Sons of Queens Road, Manchester. The Auntie Sally mentioned in Bill Hayes memoirs (see page 11) is the lady at the front of the picture, wearing what the young ones of to-day would call, a dead rat. My mother is the last lady sitting on the front row and yes, you've guessed it, the little boy peeping from under his hat is my brother Billy Hayes. They were all going for a day trip to the Seaside complete with hats!
Best wishes, Ann Cole (nee Hayes)
