The Barnett Sisters that was!
Stella and Pat are once again organising a schools reunion which is to be held on the 2nd October 2009, 7.30pm at The Millgate, Ashton Road West, Failsworth.
Reunions they have organised in the past have been a great success; the event started off as just a reunion for past pupils of Corpus Christi. (The school Pat and Stella attended) However they have grown to be much more than that!
Stella said "Well, when we were younger, people from the various schools in the area knew each other and played together as children, and socialised together as young adults, so we thought it would be a good idea to open it up to everyone at the different schools, namely Corpus Christi, St. Mark's Holland Street, Nelson Street, and St. Patrick's.”
We realise that we may be inundated with requests for tickets, but we can only cater for two hundred people, so it will be a case of 'first come, first served!'
