We've all got money troubles.

Amp Project comes to an end due to lack of funding.

For the past nine years; the Amp Project, was based first in Ancoats and then in Miles Platting. Amp's co-ordinator Martina Convery and Youth Workers, Kam and Carol worked tirelessly for the young people on the project and some very important groundbreaking work was initiated by them. Though a lot of important work was done, the young people also had some fun along the way.

In the past the young people from the project have worked alongside the Have Your Say team, producing articles that were included in several issues of Have Your Say.

They also produced a series of their own Magazines entitled Made in Madness.

The young people on the project have produced some short films, most recently a film about anti social behaviour and noisy neighbours; and have been instrumental in developing their own young peoples' forum. This has led on to some of the young people joining Bang of the Voice; a forum based in East Manchester where the young people discuss and debate issues that affect them at the present time, and issues which may affect them in the future.

The AMP Project was a great resource in the area for the youth and we at Have Your Say are sorry to say goodbye to this project.
