Enjoy the Madonna Del Rosario procession
The Manchester Italian Association, invites all to witness its annual Madonna Del Rosario procession (which first took place 120 years ago) on Sunday 28th June. The procession will include the banners and emblems of the Association, together with the parishioners of St. Michael's and St. Patrick's Old Boys.
The procession will commence from St. Michael's Church, George Leigh Street, Ancoats at 1:30pm and will continue through Manchester, including Swan Street, Cross Street and around Albert Square, before returning to St. Michael's, where refreshments will be available.
All are welcome to participate or come along to watch and support the event.
First Communicants in dresses are especially welcome to participate. Men and boys wishing to help carry the emblems must wear white shirts, dark trousers and shoes.
