Marian’s handy tips
I always place a stick-on air freshener on the inside door of my wardrobes.
I also put a stick-on air freshener on the lid of my pedal bin, it smells nicer when you open it.
When you put a new bag in your wheelie/dust bin, spray it with fly spray it will deter the flies.
When chopping fresh herbs, especially mint for mint sauce, use a pizza cutter it`s a lot quicker.
If your kids leave their bikes outside put an old shower cap over the seat, then if it rains they won't get their jeans wet. (Remove the shower cap before riding)
If you want a change of glasses frames, just paint your old ones with nail polish the colour of your choice, there are lots to choose from now-a-days.
If you have a limescale stain caused by a dripping tap, soak pieces of kitchen towel in lemon juice and drape over the stain it will soon vanish.
If you have broken the light bulb in the socket just get a potato and put it over the sharp ends and it should come out easy, in the usual way, push up and twist.
