Potato cure for sore eyesPotato cure for sore eyes
For tired, sore, soreness due to an allergy or just lack of sleep here is a cheap cure. Cut a raw potato into 1/4inch slices and put a slice over each closed eyelid while you relax for about ten minutes. The potato has the natural ability to absorb excess water and thereby reduce puffiness.

Burned TongueBurned Tongue
If you burned or scalded your tongue by eating or drinking something too hot you may find that sprinkling a few grains of sugar on it can help within minutes. Apply more some time later if necessary. This is for minor burns of course a severe scald will need medical attention.

A glass of hot water is more beneficial in soothing a cough than most expectorants.

 

Oil Splatters
If oil splatters from the frying pan onto your skin and creates minor burns, spread a light layer of honey over the area to relieve the stinging within minutes.
