More uses for a tumble dryer sheet
Tie a dryer sheet through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season, it repels mosquitoes, bees and ants. Golfers put a sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away. It will chase ants away if you lay a sheet near them.

It takes the musty odour from books that don’t get opened very often.

Freshen the air in the home or the car. Hang a dryer sheet in the wardrobe or put in a drawer. Place a sheet under the front seat in the car.

Eliminate odours from a wastebasket or dirty laundry. Place a dryer sheet at the bottom of the laundry basket or rubbish bin.

Prevent musty smelling suitcases. Put a dryer sheet inside before storing.

Other Handy Tips
Dry Skin on your heals? Rub a good helping of Vaseline /petroleum Jelly onto them at bedtime and put an old pair of socks on, to keep it off the sheets, do this for a few nights and you will have lovely soft skin.

To make sure you don’t run out of washing powder for an important wash, dry and fill your machine’s dispenser after each use, ready for the next time.

When defrosting your freezer, fill a plastic plant sprayer with hot water to squirt at built up ice in tricky corners. It works wonders.
