Uses For A Dryer Sheet
There are many uses for a dryer sheet besides the use it was intended for, which was softening clothes and giving them a nice smell. Here are a few:

Clear up cat hair. Rub the area with a dryer sheet and it will magnetically attract all the loose hair.

Dissolves soap scum from shower doors.

Clean baked on food from a cooking pan. Put a dryer sheet in the pan, fill with water and leave to soak overnight. Then sponge clean. The anti-static agent apparently weakens the bond between the food and the pan.

Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a dryer sheet before sewing.

Other Handy Tips
To remove fresh bloodstains from clothing. Make up a paste of cornflour and water, dab on the affected garment, let it dry then brush off.

Rub a magnet over the tip of a screwdriver a few times. It will make it temporarily magnetic and prevent screws falling off when you’re trying to reach awkward places.

Keep a small jar with small change inside, hidden by your front door, then when people come collecting for charity you won’t have to go looking for any.
