Martina on Prime time

Martina Convery Amp project co-ordinator and volunteer for Have Your Say Magazine (Young Reporters Section) was recently invited to London to meet The Prime Minister and Mrs Blair.

The reception was held at Lancaster House as the Prime Minister stated that the building was of more historical interest than Downing Street.
Martina was nominated to be invited by the Home Office and the N. C. V. O. (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) for recognition of services to the not-for-profit sector.

Martina said “It was an honour to be invited and I had a most memorable evening”.
