The Price of a haircut!
When I was sixteen years old I paid 1/- (5p) for a haircut.

Forty years later at the age of 56 the price I paid for having my hair cut was £6. I worked it out that the price of a haircut has increased by 12,000%. I can assure readers that my wages didn’t go up 12,000% to keep in line with this inflation.
