Are you an armchair moaner?
If you see someone committing a crime, what do you do about it? Turn the other way? Pretend you haven’t seen anything untoward going on? Think it’s none of my business? Go home and moan to the family about “What is the world coming to?” Or do you try to prevent it in some way?

Nowadays more and more people are ignoring the criminal activity even when it goes on under their noses. Once you have witnessed a crime you are already involved and there is something you can do about it. Without putting yourself in danger.

You can now call the CCTV Control Room.

Telephone number:
0161 276 0031 or 0161 276 0032.

Calls are confidential and you don’t have to identify yourself. Operators are there to take your calls 24hrs a day. Or alternatively you can call the police on
0161 872 5050. Remember the 999 number is for emergencies only.

If you want to report anti-social behaviour you can telephone Housing on Call. Their number is 0161 953 2525.

Don’t be an armchair moaner be a good citizen.
