Drivers Take Note!
While it is imperative that something should be done about the ever-increasing problems with road transport there are lots of things, which need to be taken into account.

Car owners will not leave their cars at home while public transport is so erratic.

Many drivers of cars, vans and lorries don’t seem to regard other road users at all! They drive aggressively, too fast, dangerously and often illegally.

The driving offence that causes me the most offence is that of parking on pavements, in some cases there is no choice in the matter, as more problems would be caused if the road or street were too narrow to allow vehicles to pass. But! The cars taking up the whole of the pavement presents hazards to pedestrians especially people with Prams, buggy’s or wheelchairs having to walk on the road to pass the obstruction.

Recent legislation has banned the use of hand held mobile phones whilst driving, but some people seem to think they are above the law and continue with this dangerous practise.

Please drivers take note!
