If you have any wine leftover put it into an ice cube tray and freeze, it can be used in sauces and gravies etc.

Slice a fresh Lemon or Lime put into a polythene bag and freeze. It’s really refreshing to use in drinks instead of ice cubes.

To keep cats away from the bird table scatter orange peel
around the base. The birds can eat in safety.

If you don’t have enough paint brushes for the kids, give them cotton-buds instead, they work just as well and can be thrown away afterwards. (The cotton buds-not the kids!)
