As
a relative stranger to Ancoats, I was surprised to notice that some of the pigeons
near Victoria Mill were bright blue in colour instead of the usual black white
and grey. The only explanation that I could think of was that the local graffiti
artists had ran out of wall space and moved on to the local birdlife.
