Showcase at the Granby

On Thursday evening June 5th, the Ancoats and Miles Platting Project (AMP) put on an exhibition of work by some of the young people from our community.

We were treated to photographic displays of images produced by the youths who were coached by Chris Charles a first class photographer. We were also entertained by three young talented dancers, and backed by music from a live band.

The photographs were all good, some exceptional, and the scenes captured glimpses of the old Ancoats and progressive building over the years plus a few with a modern twist too.

The young photographers were Ian, Chris, Lee, Jordan, Carla, Cassie, Anthony, Carly and Blair. All should be very proud of their achievements.
