“On the 28th of July along with many other people I watched in amazement at the rainbow coloured fireworks glistening into the black painted sky. The sound was like a herd of elephants stampeding through the streets with a mixed sound of thunder.

But at the same time beautiful splashes of colour, some with a round swirling spiral, that twisted into the sky. It was a great way to finish the Commonwealth Games.”
