Painting Tips
Gloss Paint
When painting with gloss paint, always have a cloth soaked in white spirit to wipe your hands or the brush handle or any drips, I keep mine in a plastic dish so it won’t wet anything else.

Emulsion Paint
When painting with emulsion paint have a cloth handy simply soaked in tap water, for a clean job every time!

Cleaning Tips
Mould
Get rid of black mould between tiles, save an empty Kitchen or bathroom cleaner spray, fill it up with bleach (not the thick bleach) and spray it onto the grouting, leave for about an hour then rinse off.

Mud
If you tread a muddy footprint onto your carpet, sprinkle salt on it immediately, leave it to dry for about an hour then vacuum, the mud will clean up easily.

Kitchen Tips
Bread crumbs
Grating fresh bread to make bread crumbs is a fiddly task, keep an un-sliced loaf in the freezer, next time you need bread crumbs simply grate what you need from the frozen loaf then return it to the freezer ready for the next time.
