Marian’s Handy Tips
If you put shopping in the ‘fridge at work or while visiting friends, put your car keys in there with it, that way you won’t go home without it!

When sawing unseasoned or damp wood with a tenon saw, spray the wood with WD40. The saw will cut through much easier.

If you are sawing plastic, put a strip of masking tape across where you want to saw, mark your length then saw, it won’t split the edge then.

In the garden in spring when the flowers die off and you are left with lots of green uninteresting leaves, put some nice fabric (not plastic) flowers amongst them, they look great next to the real leaves and give you extra colour.

Need to economise on the kids cereal, stir some Rice Krispies into their favourite Coco Pops and shake well.
