That Helicopter
A few years ago, Greater Manchester Police Force introduced
a new weapon in fighting crime. THE HELICOPTER.
Whenever I heard it hovering close to my house, I would go out to see if I could see what was happening. My friend and neighbour was just the same. Our sons always joked about having the nosiest mothers in Miles Platting! (They always wanted to know what was going on when we got back though).
Recently, we realised whenever we hear the helicopter
nowadays, we don’t bat an eyelid. In fact, we probably don’t even
notice its presence any more!
